Suwasetha Medical Center

Suwasetha Medical Center is the function under YMBA Kolonnawa and governed by a special appointed director board. This is the main private medical center that functions in the Kolonnawa area, offering OPD Services, Specialist Channel Services, Pathological Laboratory Services, Dental Clinic, Eye Care Unit and a Pharmacy Services at a concessionary rate. Enhancing our service, we are now open OPD services even in the morning (8.30am to 12.00pm). It is honored to inform you that we are the only medical center in Kolonnawa which provides OPD services during morning hours.

The center also maintains the history of each patient entering the medical center in order to provide better service. This is the only medical clinic which provides OPD services in the morning hours in Kolonnawa. The OPD is open each day morning (8.30am to 12,30pm) and evening (6.00pm to 8.30pm) except for poya days.

Laboratory service in Suwasetha commenced in 2010 and in the last 10 years we have built a reputation for accuracy and dependability. The Suwasetha Laboratory is able to provide quality results for a reasonable and affordable price. The laboratory conducts internal quality control on all its machines. It also ensures external quality control by working closely with other reputed local laboratories. Our Laboratory service is currency managed by a well experienced Laboratory Technician who has experience over 30 years as MLT. She is a registered technician under Ceylon Medical Council (Reg No. 1211) and has been working with Nawaloka Laboratories since 1989 to 1999 and also with OASIS Laboratory since 1999 to 2010. As Responsible medical center, we always ensure to provide high quality results by using reagents from Germany, USA and UK. Our Laboratory is open daily from 6.30am to 4.00pm except for poya days.

Suwasetha Dental Care Unit

Dental care is an essential part of maintaining overall good health, both in children and in adults. The Suwasetha Dental Unit believes that everybody should be able to receive the best possible dental care and treatments. With a large array of skills and experience at hand, our family-friendly dentist and staff provide general dental treatments during morning (9.30am to 12.30pm and evening (5.30pm to 7.30pm). Further dental surgeries will be carried over by well experienced dental surgeon on Sundays from 8.30pm onwards.

The Suwasetha Pharmacy is open from 8am to 8pm, each day except on Poya days. It sells over- the-counter (OTC) products, prescription-only medicine (POM) and surgical products at Government approved prices.
